Babatunde O. Adeyemo

Babatunde Adeyemo is a graduate of electrical engineering from University of Lagos. He started his professional career in the former National Electric Power Authority NEPA (now Power Holding of Nigeria PHCN). He work in NEPA for more twenty in various capacities and he specialized in SCADA. He was the Coordinator of ECOWAS Observatory in 2006 with a responsible to collect data on power systems of ECOWAS countries. When the WAPP Secretariat was established in 2007, the ECOWAS Observatory was changed to the Information and Coordination Center. Presently Babatunde is the Director of the WAPP Information and Coordination Center with responsibility to analysis the growth and operation of WAPP grid. He is also responsible for the establishment of power pool standards and regional electricity market.
