Aboubakari Baba-Moussa
Director of Infrastructures and Energy, African Union Commission

Mr. Aboubakari Baba-Moussa, Director of Infrastructures and Energy at the African Union Commission since 2004, is a Civil Engineer of the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, holds a specialized Master’s Degree in Infrastructures as well as Certificates in Transport Economics. He has over 28 years of work experience in the infrastructure sector. He has held a number of important senior positions and served as a national and international Director for the Regional Economic Communities of West Africa and in the African Union, which enabled him to acquire strong technical and managerial skills for dealing with regional, continental and international infrastructure issues. He has successfully implemented a number of sector-wide infrastructure policies and programmes such as the Programme on Infrastructure Development in Africa (PIDA), PACIT, the Africa-EU Infrastructure Partnership and the Africa-EU Energy Partnership.
